The client came to us with a clear goal — live prices, positions and trading for an energy supplier. The hard part was huge volumes of sensor and meter data.
Our approach
We started with a short discovery sprint to map the users, the data and the constraints, then moved into weekly cycles with working software in a shared workspace. Consulting, Development, Delivery and Product Research ran as one team, so research fed design and design fed engineering without handoffs.
The platform was built on Realtime, Dashboards and APIs, with automated tests and monitoring from the first release.
The result
Trades in under 50 ms. The product launched in 18 weeks and we stayed on for the releases that followed — fixing what users tripped over and doubling down on what they loved.
